Rooted Light: The Taurus Supermoon and the Art of Renewal

5–6 November 2025

On the nights of 5–6 November, the Full Supermoon rises in steady, sensuous Taurus, bathing the sky in soft gold. It is the second in a trilogy of Supermoons, a rare celestial sequence that invites continuity – what was awakened under October’s Aries flame now seeks grounding, peace, and form.

If the last moon burned bright with courage and initiation, this one teaches the quieter magic of stability. Here, under Taurus’ patient light, we remember that the work of renewal is not about beginning again, but about returning — to the body, to the breath, to the simple rhythms that sustain us.

The Mirror of Embodiment

Where Aries demanded action, Taurus asks presence. This Supermoon sits opposite the Sun in Scorpio, illuminating the balance between holding on and letting go, between material comfort and soulful depth.

It is a lunation of embodiment – an invitation to feel at home in your skin, to touch what is real, to honour what endures. The Supermoon magnifies sensation: the scent of earth after rain, the warmth of candlelight, the pulse of gratitude in the chest.

Taurus whispers: stability is not stagnation. It is the fertile ground that allows new life to root.

Ritual: Earth, Water, and the Breath of Renewal

To anchor the energy of this Supermoon, create a gentle, grounding ritual.
You will need:
• A candle (white, green, or soft gold)
• A crystal – Rose Quartz for compassion, Green Aventurine for renewal, or Jade for peace
• A bowl of water
• A small piece of paper and pen

1. Light the Candle
Sit somewhere quiet, where you can see or feel the moonlight. As you light the flame, imagine it softening the edges of all that feels tense or overworked. Whisper:
“Light awakens what I welcome.”

2. Touch the Earth
Hold your crystal in your hand. Feel its weight – its steadiness mirrors your own. Breathe deeply, in through the nose, out through the mouth, each breath a reminder that the body is your first home.

3. Write What You Invite
On the paper, write three words or phrases that capture what you wish to renew – love, patience, creativity, peace, presence. Fold the paper gently around your crystal.

4. Seal with Water
Dip your fingertips into the bowl of water and sprinkle a few drops over your paper and stone, whispering:
“As the moon renews her light, I renew my heart.”

5. Rest and Receive
Place the wrapped crystal under your pillow tonight. Let the dreams that visit you speak in the language of renewal.

Final Thoughts

This Taurus Supermoon reminds us that true change is not always loud or dramatic — sometimes it is as simple as choosing calm, as quiet as consistency.

What Aries ignited, Taurus now steadies.
What was a flame becomes an ember – glowing, enduring, alive.

Renewal, after all, is not the birth of something new. It is the remembering of what has always been whole.
