Vicky's Way to Reset |
What’s My Go-To Reset When Life Feels Overwhelming?
When life feels overwhelming, when the noise gets loud, the emotions
build, and everything feels “too much”, my instinct is to go inward.
I pause. I breathe. I close my eyes and give myself the gift of silence. Not to
escape, but to listen.
I’ve learned over the years that overwhelm is rarely about the situation itself. It’s usually about the meaning I’m giving it. So I drop into meditation, not
just to calm my system, but to get curious. I start asking myself gentle,
intuitive questions:
> What do I think is happening here?
> What story am I telling myself?
> Is this really true, or just familiar?
I know, deep down, that if something is bothering me, it’s worth listening to.
So I create a quiet space to observe - not react. I watch what rises from my
unconscious, and then begin to make sense of it. Often, the moment I shine
light on it, the tightness begins to soften.
This is how I reset:
> Not by pushing through, but by turning toward myself.
> Not by silencing the discomfort, but by understanding it.
That’s how I find my way back - clearer, calmer, and more connected to what really matters |

Hypnotherapy |
Hypnotherapy isn’t just about stage acts or deep relaxation. It’s a practical, science-backed tool for real transformation. These days, people use hypnotherapy to break stubborn habits, shift limiting beliefs, and heal from past trauma. Whether it’s quitting smoking, building confidence, or finding peace after difficult experiences, hypnotherapy works directly with the subconscious to create change from the inside out.
Vicky, trained by Paul McKenna and worked with him for many years, brings this powerful modality to life with warmth, skill, and deep understanding. If you’re curious about how hypnotherapy could help you rewrite the story you tell yourself, check out our Wellness Wiki entry to learn more. Your mind is more powerful than you think - hypnotherapy helps you unlock it. |

Dr Joe Dispenza's - The Source |
Vicky is a huge fan of Dr Joe Dispenza’s work-she’s attended his workshops, practises his meditations, and finds real transformation in his approach. Charlotte even took part in the research that fed into The Source, exploring the power of distance coherence healing. The Source isn’t just a film; it’s a movement showing how meditation can spark genuine healing and change, backed by science and real-life stories. If you’re curious about the mind’s true potential, watch The Source (link below.
The science behind this movement is growing fast. The InnerScience Research Fund is publishing studies that are changing how we understand meditation and consciousness. Their latest research, including a groundbreaking study on twins, shows just how deeply meditation can affect our bodies and minds. Read the latest findings from the link below.
If you’re ready to see what’s possible when ancient wisdom meets modern science, dive into these resources and see where curiosity takes you.

Overcoming The Impossible |
Life is full of ups and downs, and some days really do feel impossible. The more we learn about the brain, the more we see how our thoughts and habits can both help and hinder us. That’s why it’s so important to have a range of tools in your belt-hypnotherapy, meditation, gratitude, or simply a moment of kindness to yourself.
Let this little bee remind you: it’s okay to take the pressure off. You’ve survived every tough day so far. For today, give yourself permission to just be. |

Mel Robbins – Empowering Your Path |
Mel Robbins’ Instagram is packed with practical wisdom and real-life inspiration. Think of it as a daily toolkit for living your best life. She’s famous for the 5-Second Rule: when you feel that impulse to do something good for yourself, count down “5-4-3-2-1” and just move. This simple trick helps break through hesitation, overthinking, and self-doubt, making it easier to take action and build new habits.
Vicky’s work with hypnotherapy and meditation is all about rewiring the mind for positive change, just like Mel’s approach. Both remind us that our brains can be trained to overcome fear and inertia. Whether you’re using the 5-Second Rule to get started, hypnotherapy to shift old patterns, or meditation to find calm, you’re building a powerful toolbelt for life.
If you’re looking for a daily dose of motivation and practical ways to transform your mindset, Mel Robbins’ Instagram is a must-follow. It’s not just about scrolling, it’s about sparking real change, one small step at a time. |
