Inside Ben’s Toolbelt: Simple Practices, Big Impact |
This week, we asked Ben three questions-and here’s what we learnt from his answers.
Ben’s current toolbelt is a blend of simple yet powerful practices that keep him grounded and growing. As the weather warms, he’s diving into cold water swimming at least three times a week-a practice that sharpens his senses and connects him deeply to the present moment. Alongside this, Ben uses box breathing to gently release the irrational fears held in the body, a technique that brings calm and clarity when things feel overwhelming. And when he needs to recharge, he turns to nature, finding inspiration and peace in its rhythms.
When the weight of the world feels heavy, Ben reminds himself that he doesn’t have to carry yesterday’s burdens into today. Trusting that life will work itself out allows him to stay present and release what no longer serves him.
The best piece of advice Ben lives by is that being part of something bigger than yourself-like The Alchemy of Being-fuels growth and inspiration. As he says, “You are either growing or shrinking.” This truth guides him every day, helping him stay open to purpose and possibility.
Ben’s approach shows us that sometimes the simplest tools in our belt can have the biggest impact-supporting resilience, presence, and continual evolution. |
