Hey there, beautiful souls!
I hope this newsletter finds you shining bright after the long Easter Weekend.
In case any of you didn't see our Easter post of social media, i wanted to share a little Ode we wrote:
An Easter Ode to Becoming (with a Wink)
I woke up today to a chocolatey haze, Half a creme egg in a post-slumber daze. The bunny’s been busy, the daffodils beam, And my jeans are now tighter (or so it would seem).
But beneath all the sugar and egg-hunting flair, There’s a whisper of wisdom that floats through the air. It’s not just about bunnies or baskets with bows — It’s about shedding what’s heavy and watching what grows.
So while I unwrap this last mini egg treat, I’m also unravelling old thoughts on repeat. ‘Cause transformation can happen in laughter and light, In stretchy-pants moments and long Sunday nights.
So here’s to rebirth with chocolate in hand, To becoming ourselves (while half-buried in sand). To rising again — even slow, even late — With joy in our hearts… and more on our plate.
=============================================
I hope the deeper message in that resonates with you. This time of year is a moment to reflect on how nature mirrors our own inner journey. Just as the earth softens and the light grows stronger, we’re invited to let go of old stories and embrace the possibility of rebirth within ourselves. Whether it’s a shift in mindset, a deepened connection to purpose, or a gentle recommitment to our wellbeing — transformation begins quietly, often in the stillness before the bloom.
So we’re holding a space for you, with the question: "What within me is ready to rise?"
Now back to the newsletter and some amazing new resources. As we continue on our journey of transformation, I want to share some more tools and insights that have been making a an impact on us here at The Alchemy of Being. |

Emmett Technique |
Ever wonder how Charlotte manages to keep so active and engaged, despite the challenges of EDS? One key element in her "toolbelt for life" is the Emmett Technique.
This gentle, yet powerful, bodywork modality uses light touch to release muscle tension and improve overall body balance.</p?
The Emmett Technique is based on the understanding that the body is interconnected, and that addressing specific points can create cascading effects throughout the system.
By applying gentle pressure to these points, Emmett practitioners can help to alleviate pain, improve range of motion, and promote a greater sense of ease and well-being.
For Charlotte, it's an invaluable tool for managing pain and maintaining mobility, allowing her to continue living life to the fullest. It is safe, gentle, and effective for a wide range of conditions. |

Sally Mudge’s Top 3 Tips for Transformation |
This week's Alchemist Alcove is Sally Mudge sharing three transformative tools from her "Toolbelt for Life," offering a theory-in-action approach to raising consciousness and improving your frame of mind. Sally’s tips are practical, heartfelt, and rooted in her own daily practices.
First, she emphasises the importance of starting each day with gratitude and intent. She says, “When I wake up, I’m grateful I’ve opened my eyes, and no matter what kind of day lies ahead, I set the intention to make it the best day I can.” This simple yet powerful ritual ensures you begin each morning with positivity and purpose.
Second, Sally recommends easing up on yourself physically by incorporating deep breathing into your routine. Her go-to technique is square breathing—inhale for four counts, hold for four counts, exhale for four counts—which she uses to help herself and clients relax and release tension.
Finally, Sally shares her unique practice of blessing water. Despite having a fear of water, she finds solace in the work of Masaru Emoto and Veda Austin, who showed that water's structure can change based on the intentions and emotions it's exposed to. Sally blesses her water daily, saying, “Thank you, I love you, I bless you,” and even extends this practice to her shower water, where she says “gratitude, appreciation, care, and compassion, love, peace, and harmony.” This ritual not only transforms her relationship with water but also serves as a reminder of the interconnectedness of all things.
Watch a short video of Sally discussing her "3 things" by clicking the button below. These three tools are an invitation to pause, reflect, and infuse your daily life with mindfulness and intention.
